AGRIBUSINESS PORTAL
The new technology was developed by the team of 150 researchers who operates in three main business research centers in Europe, backed by tests and field research conducted in Brazilian soil and climate conditions.
Although the new formatting only potassium will be released for marketing in the second half, the research, the paths and the processes that have led to its development are being presented in this month of may, the universe of researchers from public and private institutions, scientists, agronomists, consultants, technical and leadership meetings in different Brazilian States.
The event featured will happen on this day 8, in Curitiba, when renowned researcher and professor at the University of Navarra (Spain), Dr. Jose Maria Garcia-Mina, Coordinator of research that led to the development of the new product will be delivering keynote presentation to the “masters of the field”, an elite group composed of more than one hundred researchers, agronomists and Brazilian consultants.
A different potassium
According to Giancarlo Valduga, national manager of Marketing at TIMAC Agro Brazil, new technology allows you to get around the biggest challenges Brazilian soil fertilization, with potassium, that are leaching and salinisation.
Traditional fertilization on potassium leaching losses suffered and, rather than remain available and within reach of the roots, if it loses in depth making its inefficient absorption. Already in the process of salinization, toxicity by saline effect hinders development of roots and consequently, of plants.
With the new technology, potassium is released in a controlled manner. With this, the Potassium is available and is absorbed by the plant in greater quantity and during a longer period of time.
Innovation also reduces significantly the salinisation and toxicity that compromises the radicular development. The new process incorporates organic plots still that activate potassium absorption by the plant in addition to stimulate your metabolism through photosynthetic processes.
Importance
Potassium (K) is one of the three so-called Basic macro-elementos, NPK fertiliser. Nitrogen (N) for the development of the plant, phosphorus (P) as energy source and potassium (K) for the yield, quality and resistance to stress (drought and disease).
