“We are working on the expansion of our cellular factories to export the technology and products that are made here to the countries of the region.
During the presentation of the achievements made by Huawei in Venezuela, Lanna said in general they are working to increase local capacity so to produce new products and designs that meet the expectations of the Venezuelans.
However, he stressed that the company adds efforts to transfer this telephone technology to the country, so have been trained 3,500 Venezuelans in the Orinoquia production lines.
Lanna pointed out that Huawei has produced 1.8 million phones assembled in Orinoco.
VENEZUELAN HANDS
“We are transferring this technology to the country to ensure technological independence”, clarified Lanna, at the time that recounted with everything that meant putting up of Orinoquia since 2008.
Huawei has offered training to 63 workers in Orinoquia who were trained to work in the phases of Assembly, quality control and repair of mobile phones.
Of this total workers, 55 inhabitants gift of the El Carmen neighbourhood, in the parish of Petare, in the State of Miranda, the same were selected by local councils, an incorporation carried out via the stimulus to production driven by the national Government programme.
As part of this national technological development of Huawei training center was created in Venezuela, a space that offers support to those who wish to contribute to the development of the country. The space opened in 2008 has trained Venezuelan 3,500 technicians and professionals, as well as more than 5,000 engineers from Latin American countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Chile and Bolivia.
“We want to support the telecommunications sector in Venezuela and work according to the sustained growth that it deserves for the new challenges that we have in terms of access to information, through fixed and mobile networks” said Lanna.
For 2013, Huawei estimated present new smart mobile teams who will be at the forefront of world technology. With these new devices they seek to overcome the phones applications evolution II, released in August of this year, which reached a distribution of more than 80,000 phones in just two months.AVN
